Which proficiency levels does Vocardo support?
You can study from A1 to C2. Adjustable SM-2 settings and AI content let you tailor every session.
How does the AI deck generator work?
Pick a topic and difficulty. The AI builds complete decks with translations, example sentences, and detailed word descriptions instead of images.
Do I need an internet connection?
AI features and sync require connectivity. Reviews work offline and sync back once you’re online again.
Can I import my existing vocabulary?
Absolutely – CSV files, AI imports, or photo scans are mapped automatically and enriched with missing details.
Does the AI create images?
No. The AI provides text-based descriptions of words and uses them for cards and examples.
Do I need an account?
No, you don’t need your own account. Firebase Analytics and the AI features (Google Gemini) are used via anonymous access – no name or email address is requested.
What’s included in the free version?
All learning features have no limits: flashcards, spaced repetition, statistics, translator, text-to-speech, widgets, test preparation, and CSV import. To try the AI features, you get a one-time allowance of 3 photo scans, 2 AI generations, and 1 conversation – Premium makes them unlimited.
What happens after the trial?
After 7 days, the Premium plan you chose starts automatically: $2.99 per month or $24.99 per year. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you pay nothing. With notifications on, Vocardo reminds you 2 days in advance.
How do I cancel Premium?
The subscription runs through your Apple ID. On your iPhone, go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Vocardo. Premium stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
Is Vocardo available for Android?
No, and it isn’t planned at the moment. I develop Vocardo on my own, so I’m focusing fully on the iOS app.
